This is the day that the Lord has made. I will be glad and rejoice in it!
If you are like me, you just sang that song in your head and hopefully it made you smile. I find that I need to remind myself constantly these days that Jesus is still in control and we are called to rejoice in his presence and provisions.
Many of you have been following along with our story and have been praying fervently and giving sacrificially. For that, I thank you and ask that you continue.
We have had an amazing opportunity to serve 300 campers and invest in 45 wonderful summer staff over the last few weeks. Yet, due to various factors, I found it best to press pause at Tejas for now. I am saddened that we could not host more campers to be able to hear the gospel message.
Please be in prayer over the next few weeks as our staff work on some great ideas in the works for families to enjoy God’s creation here at Tejas and stay tuned for those announcements towards the end of the month.
Together we will continue to see Jesus at work, as we serve in worship to our Lord and Savior.
